Most items we handle may be customized with names, initials, tooling, or other designs or imprints. Dyed leather may be made light or dark, although the actual shade varies by the grain and surface of each piece of leather. Most product descriptions indicate its customizable components. Some items include customizations. Most others may be customized. Price will depend on the complexity and time involved.

Rifle Sling. A perfect example of a personalized request. Complete with initials, colors and design of choice. This one has oak leaves and an elk at the bottom. Extra padding added BETWEEN leather front and suede backing for comfort and durability. Entire item is hand stitched with waxed thread. Adjustable length up to 44", fits standard sling mounts and is about 2" wide. Unless abused, this item should last a lifetime. Nice for father to son heirlooms. Price depends on complexity. COW'S KNEE. This is a soft suede cover used to "Keep your powder dry". It is put over the flint and powder pan on a Flintlock rifle to help keep moisture out. There is a hole on the opposite side to tie the lace to that prevents it from falling off while moving through the woods. This is special made at 13" long and covers the rear site also. Various shades of brown suede could be used. See the Frontier page to order.

BEE STING KIT. This item was made to carry an Epi-pen to use for allergic reactions. It features a sewn on belt loop. Also shows with the EMS Emblem. Initials could be added to the lower front of the case at no extra charge. See the Accessory page to order.

Leather Repairs. This interesting item was brought to me by an antique dealer who found me at one of the many craft shows I attend. All lacing was destroyed and only usable items were alligator hide, cowhide lining, and clasp. Entire item was hand relaced with calf lacing and provided straps were reattached. This was snatched from the "throw-out" pile and restored to better than new condition. For less than $100 in repairs, this item is now reported to be valued at well over $1000!

Longaberger Basket Handle. These MYSTERY braided leather straps are made in various lengths and widths using one continuous braid (there are no loose "ends" on the braid). Normal width is 3/4". Handle's tab fits over basket's bail button to attach to your Longaberger basket with NO MODIFICATIONS to basket. May be removed and reattached easily. Increases flexibility of this high-fashion designer basket/purse. Wholesale pricing available for dealers. Retail as shown $ 14.95.

BASKET PURSE SETS: This is a new request from a basket maker locally. It can be provided with either the braided straps as shown or with solid straps. The straps are about 46" long and can be adjusted by use of the buckle to about 40". The purse includes a wooden lid which is attached by the 2 solid hinge pieces (5/8"x5") of leather on the right. The center piece of leather is the closure tab (1"x5") and is used with the silver colored metal pieces below to close the lid. Also includes 4 ¼" & 3 ½" Chicago screws in a color to match the buckle. The Chicago screws attach the leather to the basket and lid. BRAIDED HANDLE: This is a special request 9 x ½" braided handle designed for a basket maker in IL. I can work from your specifications for length, width, location of holes for attachment, including leather hinges, leather latch loop with turn locks, strap hangers, and/or button spots. CUSTOM ORDERS: This photo is a teddy bear made by one of my customers. I provide the collars with bells. I am able to provide collars with and without bells. Also solid bells on a thong. I am also providing her with dog type collars and leashes in various sizes and colors.
